Job Summary:
The OFLC provides national leadership and policy guidance to carry out certain responsibilities of the Secretary of Labor under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), as amended, concerning foreign workers seeking admission to work either permanently or temporarily in the United States. Among other responsibilities, the OFLC processes employer-filed labor certification applications through two National Processing Centers and a National Prevailing Wage Center. This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) National Office, Division of Permanent Labor Certification. The position is outside the bargaining unit. The full performance of this position the GS-14 level. "A recruitment incentive may be offered in accordance with the Department of Labor's Personnel Regulation (DPR) Chapter 575."
