Job Summary:
Incumbent serves as the Assistant Aquatics Program Manager and Swimming Coach responsible for coaching the Youth Swim Team, daily operation and supervision of aquatic facilities, recreational programs, personnel, and classes at aquatic facilities. Incumbent will develop aquatic curriculum, plan and execute aquatic programs and conduct Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor courses. Will attend customer service training as required. Must always display leadership and increase customer participation. Must have ability to deal with difficult members and balance swimmers personal goals with the team goals. Will assist aquatic manager with coordination with the MWR marketing department to publicize the swim team and aquatic events.
