About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the HQDA, ODCS, G-2, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff G-2, Washington, DC. Serves as confidential secretary and personal assistant to the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 (ADCS, G-2). In this capacity, utilizes a thorough knowledge of the attitudes and thinking of the ADCS, G-2; experience in departmental activities, procedures, tradition and customs, and the ability to deal with top civilian and military officials of the government, foreign military personnel, representatives of industry, members of Congress, and the general public in discharging assigned duties.
