Job Summary:
This position is located in the Installations and Logistics Department, Public Works Directorate, Engineering Division, at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Yuma, AZ. The primary purpose of this position is to provide non-professional technical support requiring practical knowledge of the techniques of engineering and engineering principles. This position is a part-time temporary position not to exceed ONE year. Temporary appointments may be extended at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Vacancies from this announcement may be filled at the following grade levels: GS-02 and GS-03 This position has promotion potential to the GS-03 grade level. If selected below the full performance level, incumbent may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management.
