Job Summary:
WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: All qualified United States citizens. You do not have to be a current or former Federal government employee to be considered. POSITION INFORMATION: This is a TERM appointment. TERM appointments are non-status, non-permanent appointments of limited duration. Term employees are eligible to earn leave and generally have the same benefits as permanent employees including health and life insurance, within-grade increases and Federal Employees Retirement System and Thrift Savings Plan coverage. Term appointments may be extended without further competition. Initial appointment will be not-to-exceed 13 months with a possible 1 year extension, up to 4 years. Position does not provide employment on a year-round basis. You may work a minimum of 42 weeks but not more than 50 weeks within a year. Employee will be placed in a non-pay status while not working. Employment period is contingent upon funding, operational needs and employee performance. Will work a full-time work schedule (40 hrs. per week) with a tour-of-duty of Monday through Thursday (10-hr days). More than one position may be filled from this announcement.
