Who May Apply: This is a Pathways Internship position open to all current students who have been accepted for enrollment or who are enrolled in an accredited institution and currently pursuing a qualifying educational program including four-year colleges/universities, community colleges and junior colleges, professional, technical, vocational, advanced degree programs or other qualifying educational institutions pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate. Throughout the program, selectees will participate in job assignments to develop competencies and to enhance their academic career goals. After successful completion of the program requirements, the individual may at the agency's discretion, be converted to a term or permanent appointment . This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Asset Enterprise Management. This entry-level developmental position is designed to provide training and practical experience in the management analysis field. The incumbent performs a variety of clearly-defined tasks assigned to increase the employee's knowledge and understanding of the functions of capital asset planning and management, and provide a general familiarity with governing policies, procedures, and regulations.
