Job Summary:
About the Position: As a Medical Technician for the Minneapolis Military Entrance Processing Station, Fort Snegging, MN, you will provide assistance to the examining physician with applicant examination, identification of physical abnormalities (e.g., missing digits, scoliosis, pes planus), discovery of disqualifying enlistment/retention factors, and determination of fitness for military duty. Minneapolis/Saint Paul is the most populous urban area in the state of Minnesota and is composed of 186 cities and townships built around the Mississippi, Minnesota, and St. Croix rivers. The area is nicknamed the "Twin Cities" and is part of a larger U.S. Census division which is the country's 13th most populous area with a population of 3,468,928. Minneapolis' famed skyway system connecting 52 blocks of downtown makes it easy to live, eat, work, and shop without even going outside. Who May Apply: All U.S. Citizens and Nationals with allegiance to the United States. This vacancy is restricted to male applicants only . Incumbent is required to examine the same sex when performing applicant health examinations.
