AMENDS ANNOUNCEMENT TO REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT TO COMPLETE KSA'S UNDER THE SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE SECTION AND TO INCLUDE THE REQUIREMENT FOR LAW SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS. About the Position: Organization/Duty Location: U.S. Army Engineer Chicago District, Office of Counsel, Chicago, IL Annual Salary includes applicable locality pay. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations. Position Status: Permanent Full-Time Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is 10 percent. Defense National Relocation Program Incentive will not be authorized. Incumbent works under general supervision of the District Counsel. Incumbent independently accomplishes normal and special assignments referring to supervisor on controversial precedent setting or policy matters to obtain concurrence on approaches being taken and to keep supervisor informed on the status of assignments. Technical work assignments are received based on the flow of work into the office and special case assignments from supervisor. For the GS-14 level position, the incumbent performs day-to-day technical functions on own initi ative and without preliminary instruction or technical guidance.
